The countryside exceeded expectations
A traveler who had expected Yangshuo to feel excessively touristy found the town more manageable than anticipated. The karst scenery outside town was the highlight for them, and viewing it from a bamboo raft felt easier than while riding a scooter. Read the original Reddit post.
