Shenzhen Bay Park includes coastal recreation space and a mangrove-side ecological area, with city views across the water. Our take: choose it for the outdoor waterfront experience, not as a landmark that needs to be covered end to end.

Look for the older city in Nantou
Nantou contains historic civic buildings, temples and traditional residences. Our take: it offers a useful counterpoint to Shenzhen’s modern skyline if older architecture interests you, without needing to imagine the district frozen in one era.
