The Bund combines a riverside promenade with historic commercial buildings. Our take: it is a good fit if you enjoy architecture and waterfront atmosphere, not only a single skyline photograph.

Separate the garden from Yuyuan Bazaar
The ticketed Yuyuan Garden centres on pavilions, rockeries and ponds; Yuyuan Bazaar is a shopping and food setting. Our take: choose the garden for its landscape design and the bazaar for browsing, rather than assuming they offer the same experience.
